Mixed Media :: Resin, Acrylic, Found Object

I sat with this piece for a long time, just the pearl, egg-shaped resin. I was moving from my Love Collection to the Barbed Wire Collection and this piece made that transition possible. There are two chips of graffiti that create the heart. They are from two different spots in the Krog Street Tunnel. But the colors of the left piece lined up perfectly with the overspray colors on the right piece. With the “Barbed Wire” over the top, this lovely piece speaks to all kinds of love, even the religious kind.
