Custom-mixed colors tinted the resin to speak to the urban neighborhood in which the seemingly unopened can of Miller High Life was found. The rich colors create movement in the piece. To the artist, the can represents whimsy of a fun night out and the weightiness of income inequality and gentrification’s impact. It’s a fun piece…with a message.
